If you would like to make a fondue for the Christmas garden party, but you think it’s not Hungarish enough, than the solution is the Hungarian peasant fondue.

magyar parasztfondü (Hungarian peasant fondue)

Preparing:

Dice a slice of bacon, put into the fondue pot, and start baking slowly, stirring slowly on the fondue fire. When it starts releasing fat, put an onion cut into rings, (but we may start baking in the same time). Bake it completely, than dip in bread with fondue fork, eat it immediately.

Ingredients:

  • fondue set
  • bacon: a slice
  • onion: a head

Work time: 20 minutes
